Art Direction and Space Ideation for The Book Nook

The Book Nook is an area where children can learn, read, discover, and play. It’s an activation space that gives property guests another reason to stay longer and visit again. Originally placed at Jefferson Valley Mall, The Book Nook will be expanding to other Washington Prime Group properties in the future. 

Drawing inspiration from libraries and colorful environments, a collection of interior decor was curated (inclusive of furniture, paint swatches, wallpaper, and children’s toys). For each space implementation, the property is supplied with a comprehensive installation guide.
